Hi everyone,Welcome back to my blog.I feel like I haven’t sat down and wrote a blog post in so long but I’m back today with a rather exciting one so I guess that makes up for my absence.About a week ago now my parents,my dog Rossa and I went on a little holiday,We went to the west of Ireland and we rented a cottage and we travelled around to quite a few places.I thought it would be nice to share a few photos from the holiday on here because I took quite a few so I thought I might as well put them somewhere. So I hope you enjoy having a little peak into our summer adventures.
Inis Oírr Island:
One of the days during the holiday we decided we wanted to visit an island so we got on a boat and went to Inis Oírr island,it is a really cute island with old castles on hills and a beautiful beach. My mum and I decided to dip our toes in the water but the waves were stronger than I thought and my dungarees ended up soaked but by that point I no longer cared so I went further into the water and began jumping around like a maniac as did my mum but it was a lot of fun and I absolutely love being at the beach!
While on the island we also went up the hills to where the castles are and we took some pictures up there because there was a great view of the island from up there. On the island my dad also made friends with a horse as you can see in the last picture.
If you’re ever visiting Ireland I would highly recommend visiting Kylemore Abbey,My parents and I took a trip out to on the first day of our holidays and it is such a beautiful monastery and the gardens are equally as beautiful. It is in Connemara so it was quite a long drive from where we were however I do think it was worth it as there is also some gorgeous scenery along the way.
We also took a trip to Dunguaire castle in Kinvara Co.Galway.I particularly like this castle because of its location on the hill beside the water. We also went for a little walk inside the castle and up to the rooms, there was also a balcony which you could walk out on.
We also took a trip to the Ailwee caves in County Clare although I didn’t take many photos because the caves were pretty much pitch black and we did get a guided tour and the tour guide was exceptionally funny. I found it really interesting to go inside the caves and learn a little bit about the history behind them and see around them. (Sorry about the poor photo quality but there was pretty much a no lighting),it was a really great tour though and it was really fun day out.
So they’re all of the snaps which I’m going to be sharing with you in this blog post. I think that I captured the holiday pretty good through the photographs and it was very nice to spend some quality time with my parents and of course I was also very happy that Rossa could come with us!
Thanks for reading,
