Book Review:Me Before You By JoJo Moyes

Hi everyone,

Welcome back to my blog,I hope you’re all doing good.I’ve bought a lot of new books latently and I’ve just finished reading “Me Before You” so today I’m going to do a review of it.

Louisa Clark knows lots of things. She knows how many footsteps there are between the bus and home. She knows she likes working in the buttered bun teashop and she knows you might not love her boyfriend Patrick.

What Lou doesn’t know is she’s going to lose her job or that knowing what is coming is what keeps her sane. Will trainer knows his motor cycle accident took away his desire to live. He knows everything feels very small and rather joyless now and he knows exactly how I was going to put a stop to that.

What will doesn’t know is that Louisa is about to burst into his world in a riot of colour and neither of them know they’re going to change the other for all time.

This book was full of so much emotion. It was honestly like a rollercoaster ride of emotion, there were moments in the book that your heart would flutter with happiness. But there were also times where there were tears streaming down my face. It really was the kind of book to tug on your heartstrings and it really is the kind of book that makes you take a step back and think of all the wonderful things in your life even the little things that you might often take for granted because not everyone is as lucky as you to have them little things.

I really love to Louise’s character I think she was really optimistic and super witty. She really did Brighton wills life up and her character just came across really kind hearted and full of hope which I really liked. I also really did like wills character I think he was quite a charmer and he was also really kind hearted. He really did Phil Weezer with a lot of confidence and made her see that she was worth so much more and that she could have so much more in life. He gave her a completely different outlook on life and they both really complimented each other really well they both brought the best out in each other and I just really fell in love with their characters.

I think this book was really well written and it’s such an important read. I would highly recommend everybody to read this book because it really is important. I however was hoping for a happy ending but you don’t always get what you want. This book really was incredible and I would highly recommend you grab yourself a copy.

Thanks for reading,

Ciara X
