Baking Chocolate CupCakes

Hi everyone,

Today I felt like baking and there was loads of Easter eggs lying around the house so I thought why not do something with them rather than let my brother Dylan eat himself into a chocolate coma.So I went online and was looking at a few different recipies and I decided to go with some classic chocolate cupcakes.I was quite happy with how they turned out and my mum has already ate one so they must be good because I won’t lie I’m not always the best cook.I thought I’d share the recipe with you all incase you also have some Easter eggs lying around the house that you’re sick of looking at.

For The Cupcakes:
100g plain flour
140g brown sugar
1 tbs baking powder
40g unsalted butter
120ml milk
1 egg

For The Icing:
300g icing sugar
100g unsalted butter
40g cocoa powder
40ml milk
Your leftover easter eggs/chocolate of your choice!

I also had a packet of Malteasers & some cute teddy bear mini biscuits lying around so I decided to use them for decorating the tops of the cupcakes so if you have anything that you think would taste nice and look good ontop then go for it and get decorating.I really enjoyed baking these,Baking always relaxes me and makes me feel calm.I want to start doing some more baking blog posts so if you have any suggestions on what I should bake next then be sure to let me know!

Thanks for reading,

Ciara X
