Hi everyone,
Welcome back to my blog. It’s been a little while since I’ve posted and that’s because I’ve been in London with my parents. We travelled to London on the 22nd of March and we came home yesterday which was the 27th of March. We’ve had the best time,my brother Shayne lives in London so it was so lovely to spend time with him again because we haven’t seen him since he came home for New Years. My dad lived in London for a while when he was younger so we also went back to visit pubs that he used to run and areas that he used to live in.It was my first time to ever visit London and I already can’t wait to go back. There’s so much to see and do there and it’s such a beautiful city.17623059_1006200536181456_107440441_o
We were lucky enough to have the weather on our side which made doing all of the tourist things all the better. We hopped on a tour bus which brought us all around the city and we got to see all of London’s beauty from another perspective. This was a great way of getting to see the city because we could hop on and off of the bus at any time and it also allowed us to see parts of the city that we might not neccessarily see if we were walking. There was so many beautiul buildings to see and so many photo opportunities.

We also went on a river cruise along the Thames which brought us straight to the London Eye,We then went on the London Eye and got to overlook the city from the top of the eye.It was such an amazing view and even though some heights can often scare me I didn’t feel scared at all. This lasts 30 minutes and you don’t even feel like you’re moving whilst you’re on it.

We tried to squeeze in as many of the tourist attractions as possible while we were there. The main attractions that I really wanted to see was Westminister Abbey,The house of Parliament,Big ben,London Eye,Trafalgar square & St.Paul’s Cathedral which I was lucky enough to have been able to visit. The architecture on the buildings was absolutely incredible. The city tour bus also allowed us to see many more of London’s famous tourist attractions from afar and learn about their history all at the same time.17571275_1006200629514780_1378125048_o17500140_1006200586181451_822679361_o17500160_1006200562848120_1288943643_o17571822_1006200462848130_1979558788_o17572025_1006200446181465_900598507_o17500212_1006200422848134_1353806932_o
We also took a trip to the Sea Life Aquarium where we saw so many different sea creatures including sharks which are one of my biggest fears.I have to admit, the sight of them really freaked me out at first but luckily there was a lot of other sea creatures which I was happy to see, such as penguins and so many tropical fish.17571811_1006200486181461_301524253_o.jpg
There was so much to see in London and everyday we saw something new.We had a lot of fun exploring the city each day.I was so happy when I saw the red telephone box’s,I’ve always wanted to see these in real life and now I finally have.So of course I had to be such a typical tourist and get my picture taken beside one.

Another thing which I was really excited about was the Underground and to be honest I miss it already. All in all I had an amazing time in London and I’m so thankful I got to spend it with my family.London is such a fantastic city and I’m so thankful I got the chance to see it for mysef. It was so lovely to see my brother Shayne again and spend time with him because we don’t get to see each other as much as we would like.17622756_1006200349514808_1361086794_o.jpg

It looks like you had a great time :). I only live an hour away from London so I go there quite regularly and I forgot to appreciate the beauty of the city sometimes, but it’s still one of my favorite places!
Do you live quire far away from London then?
Let’s hope it’s not too long before you get to enjoy London again 🙂 x
