How to get through a tough time

Hi everyone,

Today I’m going to be sharing with you some tips / advice on how to get through a tough or stressful time.Whether it’s   school,exams,work,college or something completely different I hope that something in this blog post will make it a little bit easier for you and hopefully help you in some way.

1.Surround yourself with people who truly care about you – These people want to help you and genuinely care about you.If you’re going through a tough time the last thing you need is negative/bad influences around you.

2.Exercise – I’m not saying go and run 10 miles,something as simple as getting out of the house to go for a little stroll to help clear your head can make all the difference.Sometimes a little change of scenary is exactly what you need to help you think clearer.

3.Say “No” to things you don’t want to do – Don’t put extra pressure on yourself to do things that you don’t even want to do but you’re too afraid to say no.Put yourself first and make decisions that are right for you and your happieness.

4.Nothing bad lasts forever – Remind yourself that even thought things might be bad right now they won’t always be like this.Life will go on and good times will come again,even if you don’t think that right now.

5.Treat yourself – Take sometime out of the day for yourself,even if it’s just to do something as simple as having a bath or watching something on the TV.Do something to treat yourself and to take your mind off of things even if it just for a little while.

So they are a few of the things that I thought of to hopefully help some of you out if you’re currently going through a tough or stressful time.I know they won’t make everything better and completely solve your problem but I do hope they will help in some way.

    Hi! I personally get really stressed! I think your point about exercise was great! I know it really helps me! There are some really good short workouts on Pinterest too which I like cause I often don’t have time to leave the house but I need to de-stress fast! Lovely post! DaisyChainDreaming xx

    All such good reminders – it’s easy to spiral into a place of negativity during tough times, this list is an awesome way to prevent that!
